On the far left, Eastgate Crossing signal box can just be made out. In the centre can be seen the cottages on Haygate Lane. From right to left is No.1 the single story crossing keepers house for the mainline, followed by semi detached No.2 and No.3, which were lived in by railway workers. No.4 on the left is the Forge Valley crossing keepers house.
