July 1922
At the end of the reign of the North Eastern Railway, in July 1922 there were four trains in each direction between Pickering and Scarborough and an additional service on Thursdays only. The first service was now from Pickering, suggesting the motive power had switched from the Scarborough end of the line. There were also three workings from Scarborough to Forge Valley and return. Of note are the final two services making use of the passing loop at Snainton.
