Pickering Station Today

Today Pickering station is the southern terminus of the highly popular North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

New Bridge is the only remaining signal box. Mill Lane, Bridge Street and High Mill have all been demolished, although the nameboard for Bridge Street is displayed on the outside of a shop adjacent to where the signal box stood.

The overall roof removed in 1952 is set to be re instated by the end of 2010.
